Billing policy
Refund and cancellation policy
This policy describes the refund window for Lifetime Hosting, excluded charges, cancellation effects, and the information required for a request.
1. Policy scope
This policy applies to services purchased directly through LifetimeHosting.tech and forms part of the LTHost Terms and Conditions. By completing an order, the customer confirms that this policy was available for review.
2. Lifetime Hosting refund window
A customer’s first eligible Lifetime Hosting purchase includes a 7-calendar-day money-back guarantee beginning on the original payment date. The request must be received before that period ends. The guarantee does not restart after an upgrade, replacement order, account change, or earlier refund.
3. What an eligible refund covers
An approved refund covers the amount paid for the eligible base Lifetime Hosting service, less any non-refundable products, completed work, provider costs, or deductions described below. Refund eligibility does not automatically extend to a domain or optional product purchased with the hosting plan.
4. Non-refundable products and charges
- Domain registrations, renewals, successful transfers, redemption, or recovery charges.
- Premium software, control-panel products, SSL certificates, and third-party licences.
- Dedicated IP addresses after allocation.
- Setup, activation, payment-provider, or currency-conversion charges that cannot be returned.
- Migration, development, configuration, or managed work after delivery or once work has begun.
- Extra storage, resources, service upgrades, and optional add-ons already supplied or consumed.
- Promotional credits, account credits, coupons, taxes that cannot legally be refunded, and irreversible payment methods.
5. Bundled or discounted products
If a domain, licence, or third-party product was supplied free or at a reduced price with the hosting order, its normal standalone cost may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund. Where possible, the customer keeps the registered domain or supplied product for its paid term after the deduction.
6. Exclusions for misuse
No refund is available for a service suspended or terminated because of fraud, spam, phishing, malware, unlawful material, intellectual-property abuse, network attacks, deliberate excessive resource use, payment abuse, or another material policy violation. This limitation does not remove any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
7. How to request cancellation or a refund
The account owner must email support@lifetimehosting.tech from the registered account address before the applicable deadline. Include the order or invoice number, service domain, service being cancelled, and reason for the request. Never send passwords, private keys, or complete payment-card details.
8. Customer data before cancellation
Customers must download required website files, databases, email, and configuration data before requesting cancellation. Service access may be disabled when cancellation processing begins, and hosted data may then be permanently deleted. A cancelled account or deleted backup may not be recoverable.
9. Processing approved refunds
Approved refunds are normally submitted to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Banks, card issuers, gateways, and other payment providers may require additional processing time after LTHost submits the refund. A different refund method may be used only when the original method cannot receive it and an alternative is permitted.
10. Chargebacks and duplicate claims
Customers should contact LTHost before opening a chargeback or external payment dispute. LTHost will not issue a second refund while a dispute concerning the same transaction is active. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in service restriction and recovery of provider-imposed costs where legally permitted.
11. Repeated or abusive use of the guarantee
A request may be rejected when documented evidence shows repeated purchases and refunds, multiple accounts created to reuse the guarantee, substantial temporary consumption intended to obtain free service, or materially false order information.
12. Policy revisions
Material changes will be published with an updated date and normally apply prospectively. The version accepted with an order generally governs that purchase unless applicable law requires a different result.
